  • 1.  Issue with x86 program on Win11 ARM

    Hi guys, 

    I am using VMware Fusion 13.5 on a Macbook M1, I have installed Win 11 ARM on my virtual machine. 
     
    I tried to install a x86 program but an error message come up “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000017). Click OK to close the application.”.
     
    Has any user ever have the same issue? Pls assist.

    Isn’t this a question for a Microsoft forum? Or a forum specific to whatever application you are trying to install?

    As  indicates, this is a question for Microsoft and/or the application developer and most likely nothing to do with Fusion. Without knowing the application you are trying to run, my guess is that your particular x86 application is having difficulties with Windows 11 ARM’s x86-64 translator.

    I had something similar with a very old .net application - I never could get that one working on ARM.
