    Hi

I have a VC server running Windows 2008 and SQL 2008 and vsphere 4.1, we have 15 hosts spread over 3 clusters (running 4.1) and about 200 vm's, looking at the database sizing tools from vmware my db should be about 5-7gb in size but it is currently 35gb in size and growing ?

anyone got any ideas why its so big ?

    Cheers in advance

check your transaction logs. I also suggest, if not already there, going from full recovery mode, to simple

    Here are a few pointers

If you do not backup your transaction log files ..your DB will grow..and grow.. and grow...
