    Hi,

New ESXi installation on my HP server which has two three TB Hard Drives. However, when I try to create new datastores, they are only 2 TB. How can I overcome this. Im using ESXI 5.5.

    Thanks, T

Probably this is caused by the driver, not an ESXi problem... I have the same problem in my lab.

ESX does not support the one Datastore Volume more than 2 TB.

@King_Robert, since version 5.1, ESXi supports volumes with 64TB and with version 5.5, ESXi supports vmdk with 62TB.
