  • 1.  Where can I find what version of HBA Driver is loaded?

    I have ESXi 4 build 164009.  How can I find what version of the Emulex HBA Driver is loaded on this host?

    the below will work for ESX, and if you can enable Tech Support mode to get to the cli, it should work for ESXi as well

    Sorry, I'm not quite following.  Are you saying I should do a dump in order to find the HBA driver version?  I was thinking that it would be something that could be seen from the VI client and I just wasn't seeing it.  I don't think I want to dump this running system.

    Thanks, That worked beautifully in ESXi using the unsupported console.

    You can sometimes get the version under System Components in Configuration \ Health Status for a standalone host or on the Hardware Status tab for a vCenter connected host.
