    Hi Community,

We are preparing an new SRM environment based on vSphere Replication. So far everything is working well. But we have the following phenomena:

Since we connected the two VRM Appliances to the two vCenters (in ELM) we see an Install Task in the task pane of every host multiple times a day (I think it installs the replication adapter?). Is this normal? The Install Task is initiated by the VRM User.

    Thank you for your help

    Best regards

    Christian

    Hi

It seems vSphere Replication server is trying continuously to install a VIB library in the ESX host(s). Could be various reasons. You can check for errors in ESX var/log/esxupdate.log and in /var/log/vmkernel.log. If this is the case, you can follow this KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2110304 for a workaround.

    Hope this helps

Hi which version of all systems (vcsa, esxi, vrm, srm)?

have you deployed each VRM in your own vcenter?
