  • 1.  vSphere Client slow or unresponsive

    Has any one had  VCenter (VCSA) 7.0.3 slow or unresponsive after introducing HPE dHCI. (not in production yet, cluster just added)

    We are having to restart VCSA daily to be able to use vSphere Client efficiently.

    There could be several reasons why vCenter (VCSA) 7.0.3 may be slow or unresponsive. Here are some possible solutions:

    • Check if there are any network issues between the client and server.
    • Check if there are any resource constraints on the VCSA appliance.
    • Check if there are any performance issues with the database.
    • Check if there are any performance issues with the storage.

    You can also try these steps to fix the issue:

    1. Check if there are any memory constraints on the VCSA appliance and add more memory if needed.
    2. Run a vacuum analyze command on the postgres database - Refer https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/87837 
    3. Disable CPU Hot Add of VCSA VM if not needed.
