    Hi,

Share what kind of datastore and with that do want to share the datastore?

Normally you have a shared storage, like a SAN or a NAS, that all vSphere hosts are connected to.

I have virtual machines on a server (Poweredge 2900) and i want to copy those virtual machines to another server, and by using VSphere i think first I should share the directory where those VMs are ..

Are you currently using local storage inside the server?  If so, it will not be possible share it out.  What is your end goal? Are you planning to upgrade?

No i don't want to upgrade, i have two servers, i installed recently ESXi 5.5 on a DELL Poweredge, my aim is being able to copy some virtual machines from a server to this  one (ESXi 5.5)

You could use FastSCP to copy VMs from a Datastore on one standalone ESXi host to a Datastore on another standalone ESXi host.

See VMware ESX / ESXi file Management - Veeam FastSCP 3.0

vCloud Connector (current version is 2.6) is another possibility, but will require some upfront work.  FastSCP is probably your best option for ease of it, but you are looking at some downtime during the migration/copy/move
