    Can I use my download key to install and activate on a second VM Host I have setup?  I already have on up and running and activated.

    Yes, you can . But its also depend on your license type (Standard, enterprise or Enterprise+ )

    It is the FREE download. QUAD Core processor. Does that make a difference?

    I'm not aware of a limitation - regarding the number of ESXi hosts - for the free Hypervisor license.

    With ESXi 5.5 all physical limitations (memory, # of CPUs/cores, ...) are gone.

    Yes. its okay to use this . But i believe it will be for 60 days evolution

    Here are the maximum limits for your ESXi 5.5.
