    Hello everyone,

    I am using Windows 11 as the Host system, VMWare Workstation 17.6.2, and Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon as the Guest.

    When enabling the "Accelerate 3D graphics" option in the Display settings of the virtual machine, several graphical artifacts are displayed over the normal interface after booting the virtual machine, until it eventually crashes and shuts down with an error message.

    Attached, I have included the file generated by the "Help > Support > Collect Support Data..." option from the program.

    I am only able to use the virtual machine by disabling the "Accelerate 3D graphics" option. Can someone guide me on the best course of action? Is this a known bug?

    Best regards,

    Bruno

    I'll take look at the logs but can you please try the config options and see if that fixes anything. Thanks!

    1.mks.enableVulkanRenderer=FALSE

    2.mks.enableDX12Presentation=FALSE

    Dear Shibdas,

    I am pleased to inform you that your last suggestion to use the mks.vk.allowMultiGPU="TRUE" option worked perfectly on my virtual machine.

    These options enabled

    I am now able to use Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon as a guest, with Windows 11 as the host using VMWare Workstation 17.6.2 without any issues or crashes using the "Accelerate 3D graphics" option.

    Best regards,

    Bruno

    I had the same exact issue. This single setting also fixed it for me!

    mks.vk.allowMultiGPU=TRUE

    Can you please attach your logs (vmware.log and mksSandbox.log) as well when you see the corruption, thanks!
