I'm trying to calculate the pricing for VMware standard.

VMware Standard license is per ESXi host right?

    For example) VMware vSphere Standard (v. 7) - license - 1 processor $1,039.99

    If there are 5 ESXi hosts, each with 2 CPUs then 2 CPUs x 5 hosts = 10 licenses are needed so 10 x $1,039.99 = $10,399.90.

And vCenter standard license is separate so a vCenter license is needed.
Example) VMware vCenter Server Standard for vSphere (v. 7) - license - 1 instance $3706.99

    So at minimum for 5 hosts, it's $10,399.90 + $3706.99 vCenter standard = 14,106.89

    Is that correct?

    Some sort of.

its per cpu sockel each 32 cores.  Yes... its around 1000,-

    1. But... the SnS is missing. Minimum 1Y "basic" is a requirement.
    2. The price for vCenter Std. looks a little bit low..  i have 5500,- in mind
    3. Look to a AcceleratorKit and buy add. LiCs to get 10 vSphere ESXi lics in total

if needed  can take a look to my pricebook.
