    Please assist,

I have an HPE DL160 Gen9 server. I downloaded VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-Update2-3620759-HPE-600.9.5.0.48-Apr2016. I updated Firmware on the server using iLO and installed the VMware hypervisor using the smart provisioning wizzard.

    VMware successfully installed.

I can not get some VM's to boot from media(CD). I tried attached via host device, Datastore ISO, iso on my machine and my physical CD-ROM. Whats more strange is that It boots freebsd and ubuntu ISO's but not Server 2012 or RHEL.

    Any Ideas?

Could it be possible that the ISOs are corrupt? This has happened to me more than once. Re-downloading the ISOs and running an MD5 check against them is always worth a go Download Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier from Official Microsoft Download Center
