VMware Converter 3 horribly slow at converting

is qnyone else getting horrible transfer rates when cold cloning machines using VMware converter 3, build 44840 ?

transferring to VMware server 1.03 build 44356

I've tried several machines,

an NT4 machine decided it would take 75 hours to do 2 disks totalling 20GB

a 2K3 machine is taking 25 hours to do a 6GB disk

I did a hot clone of the 2K3 machine and it took under an hour!

transfer rates work about to about 3-5MB per minute, approx 60x-100x slower than they should be on a 10/100 network.

I have seen something like this. Check the port speed for the server you are running the convertor and make sure the speed and duplex are what you expect on both the server and switches. I had one server that was auto and running at half duplex that would have taken forever
