vmnic mac address changes

I have been running into an issue with a couple vms where the mac address is changing on them when they reboot, causing the vds port to block the traffic because of the security violation. What would cause the mac address to change suddenly like that?

its usually there is a conflict with another VM, if its not set to static it will get another one. You can set an alarm to see if that's the case
