    Hello Guys,

I have 2 Esxi host managed by Vcenter Server 6.0. Now i have tried to enable HA in cluster but it came up with error saying "ssh is enabled on the host" "Not enough resources to configure HA' something like this and then there is a red alaram status host is in risk. however HA configuration is failed, so i tried to disable HA then in one host it says "unconfigaration of HA is failed" so googled and then removed host from vcenter to reativate it. then i went to host directly to stop/start Management Agent services. its done with stoping services but i cannot start services from 12 hours it stuck.

i have already disabled ssh in host. now i cannot access host in any way. should i restart the host manualy? will it effect my vm's?? please suggest.

    Hi,

If you don't access SSH or aweb interface, all you have to do is proceed to manual shutdown.

Are there any VMs turned on?

The virtual machines reside on the datastore, did you install the ESXi in the same datastore or in an SSD or other location?

    Did you see this procedure?

Insufficient resources to satisfy vSphere HA failover level on cluster > ProVirtualzone - Virtual Infrastructures

    Hi,

We have Lenovo 3650 M5 Servers, installed Esxi host on two servers SAS drives. Vm's are installed in centralised storage IBM v3700(iscsi). i will follow below link to enable HA(admission control need to be changed). but for now can you please guide me how to bring my Host back to access from webconsole/vsphere or to add in vcenter. As mentioned its stuck in Management agent service start.i can see you mentioned manual shutdown, vm's are turned on in this host.
