VCSA change gateway adress

Hello to all,

 

I can't change the gateway address from the VCSA GUI (6.7).

Operation launches well, but the GW does not change for all that...

 

 

Always old GW after..

 

So I went from "VAMI" to Shell. But when I enter the correct gateway for my network interface, the change is not taken into account. It stays on the old IP address...

 

So I entered the address directly with the command : 

route add default gw 192.168.1.100

 

And it works ! But at each restart of VCSA, it's the old GW which returns...

My new GW address does not remain..

 

I don't understand anything and I've been looking for 1 day...

 

Can someone help me?

Is it only the gateway to be changed ?

from SSH ..Run   /opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net and follow options .

Make sure the VCSA VM can use the same GW using the same VM port group.

Thank you for your reply.

 

This is the second thing I have tested.

First by the GUI, and then in command via VAMI (and then via "add route") 

But when I do that, I don't get an error message but it still doesn't take the new GW.

Can u check the below file?

/etc/systemd/scripts/network/10-eth0.network

This is not exactly the right way (/etc/systemd/scripts/network/10-eth0.network) but here is the file.

The correct gw address is in "Network", the old one in "Route".

 

 

 Can I change it directly in this file with VI?
