    Posted Dec 24, 2022 02:44 PM

i have 5 hosts in a cluster and getting following error on one of vCLS continuously,

    babmunir_1-1671892193636.png

the working vCLS summary tab showing as

    babmunir_4-1671892827161.png

and the vCLS which is generating error showing as

    babmunir_5-1671892897413.png

i have already performed following steps in order to solve this but no luck so far

    enable/disable cluster

keep host into maintenance mode and rebooted

    host updated with 7.0.3, 20842708

    vCenter updated to 7.0.3 20845200

    compatible options are greyed out

can somebody suggest what else i can do to resolve this error ?

What kind of host /vendor/model) is it?
I've seen "MWAIT" compatibility issues (in my case with Lenovo/IBM hosts), where this feature wasn't enabled in the host's BIOS.
    see e.g. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2008403

EVC is not enabled as we are using same family processor in a cluster

    Huawei XH620 V3

Processor Type: Intel Xeon CPU E5-2630 v4

Just guessing...   raise up the VM compatiple Mode on Cluster level.

maybe it will be really a straightforward option but what if you will reconfigure a vmx file via notepad for vCLS VM.

Hello, is this resolved ? I faced similar issue today. Even though you dont use EVC at cluster level, by default vcls vm have Per-VM EVC enabled. So you need to enable Monitor/MWAIT in BIOS, then vcls vm will be powered on automatically.

I have same error. Is there an update for this "No host is compatible"?

Do i need to change BIOS setting on VM-settings?

    Kind regards
