  • 1.  Vcenter was broken after re-join Enhanced Link Mode

    VMware vCenter Server 6.7.0.44000

    i have 2 vcenter in Enhanced Linked Mode (192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.110), both 2 vcenter use same ldap 192.168.1.100.
    Today i tried to leave vcenter 192.168.1.110 out Enhanced Linked Mode.
    After that i tried to join vcenter 192.168.1.110 to Enhanced Linked Mode again. with command: cmsso-util domain-repoint -m execute --src-emb-admin Administrator --dest-domain-name FPT-vcsa.sbdtelecom.cloudlocal
    The error happened: Re-installing Platfom Console Services Failed.
    And my vcenter was lost. i still can login vcenter:5480
    i tried to backup my vcenter by veeam backup. Backup successully but my vcenter not back.

     Just want to check with you about this issue. Is it resolved by any chance ?

    Going to guess you used the following KB to do so.

    Using the cmsso command to unregister vCenter or PSC from Single Sign-On (2106736)

    "The process for removing a vCenter Server or a Platform Services Controller from the vSphere domain is irreversible. After you remove an appliance from the domain, you cannot rejoin it to the same domain."
