vCenter Upgrade fails at Stage 2

Hi All,

Please suggest on this error, while upgrading vCenter Appliance from 6.5u3 to 7.x in the Stage 2 process getting an error saying as below.

we are able to ping the vCenter / hosts from both vCenters Source and newly installed - please provide your suggestions.

Support team is saying Firewall port may blocking to continue!! is that correct.

Check if ports really not blocked, with telnet or netcat.

If you are 100% sure about ports and your firewall settings, try to upgrade step by step, from 6.5 to 6.7, then to 7.x I likely had the same error when I was trying to upgrade from the older versions of vCenter to 7.x
