I install the 2 vCenter servers 6.7 in link mode with embedded PSC . i break the link mode. now both server are accessible individuals. but under license-> assets still both vcenter and hosts are visible.

vcenter server: vcenter server 6.7 appliance with embedded PSC servers, single SSO.

You've disabled only Link-mode but PSC controllers are still in the same SSO domain and can replicate.

VMware License Service is located on PSC:

    https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.7/com.vmware.psc.doc/GUID-FE4E0496-A14C-4331-A7D6-1200F7C068A5.html

You can check if your PSC are replicated and check if they have any replication partner:

I tried to run the below command to check replicatin partner but no success.

    vdcrepadmin -f showservers -h PSC_FQDN -u administrator -w Administrator_Password

This was First vcenter which i configured to enable the link mode.

    this is second replication partner

this is the third replication partner, in third VC+PSC servers showing second and third vcenter server in system configuration.

In license tab 1st vcenter is showing all three vcenter servers

both replication partner is showing only 2 vCenter servers(replication partners)

How did you break the linked mode??

Any other way apart from domain-repoint is not supported and would leave lot of stale entries to manually cleanup.

    https://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2017/03/how-to-split-vcenter-servers-configured-in-an-enhanced-linked-mode-elm.html

I tried to de-join and rejoin the domain but no effect. still stale entries are there.

what is the way to cleanup stale entries.

To cleanup stale entries you will have to connect to each vmdird DB via LDAP browser, for example jxplorer, identify and remove stale entries.

Make sure you take snapshots/bakcup before you remove anything.

If you haven't done this before and it's urgent recommend you to file a SR with GSS.

This is a complex process as this requires modifying vmdird database. Please contact VMware support.
