vCenter Converter Standalone P2V conversion error

Please, I'm currently having issue trying to convert a Microsoft Server 2008 R2 to a virtual machine.

The attached file showed the type of error given here.

That the following troubleshooting procedure had been carried out after I encountered this problem:

Prerequisites

Before you continue, you must prepare the source Windows machine for conversion.

■	Make sure that the Windows version installed on the powered-on machine is supported. For a list of supported operating systems, see Supported Operating Systems.

■	Make sure that the Converter Standalone server machine has network access to the Windows source machine.

■	Turn off firewall applications running on the source machine.

■	Disable file sharing on the source Windows machine.

■	Make sure that no other conversion task is using the source you select.

■	Manually remove any VMware Converter 3.x installations from the source machine.

■	If you plan to convert a powered-on machine by using IPv6, ensure that Converter Standalone server is installed on Windows Vista, Windows 2008, or Windows 7 operating system.

Check if firewall of this w2k8 is disable.

Try too install converter software in this machine that you need do a p2v and select to do P2V "This local machine".

May is interessant you get Converter 5.0 http://communities.vmware.com/community/vmtn/beta/public_converter_50

Thanks very much for your contribution.

I was able to convert the server, when I installed the VMware vCenter Converter Standalone tool on the server and I initiated a physical conversion just as you've said in your response.

Seems like a network problem, checkif you have got an IP adress by checking the IP settings.. Is there a DHCP server avaiable?
