I have configured a nested lab and and that part is working.  I just tried to install VCA and it did install.  When I open up the console and connect to the vm, I am not seeing "Configure Network".  I do have Login and Timezone.  Why is the configure network option not listed?

VCA can be managed via browser. On the VM console you should be seeing the steps on what to do.

    1) Open a browser to <ip address>:5480

    2) Accept the EULA..

Understood.  However, the IP address that VCA received during the installation was 10.0.3.5/24 and the network that I am on is 10.0.0.x/24.   I am not able to connect to VCA via firefox using https://10.0.3.5:5480/  Since it is not on the same network, I am assuming that is why I cannot connect.  Why did it choose 10.0.3.5?  How do I resolve this? Thanks for your assistance!!!

Well its built on top of SLES, so you could just login to the console and change the ip via commandline

I have tried a few things to change the ip address, however it still will not stick.  I need to change the default settings in command line from dhcp to static.  I have done numerous searches on vmware site and on google and have not found how to change in command line DCHP to static and how to change ip address.  Can someone point me to an article or show me the commands via the directory structure?
