    Hello

I'm new to VMware workstation - I want to create a virtual network with Ubuntu machine & windows 10 (v-1903) machine.

I want the Ubuntu machine will be functioning as a DHCP server and also the default gateway of the Windows 10 machine

I've configured one interface of Ubuntu and windows 10 to be on vmnet8 (host only) , the second vmnet of Ubuntu is bridged to host.

Now windows can ping the Ubuntu but there is no internet connection to google...

how to fix it so windows 10 will be able to get internet using the Ubuntu machine

You need to follow a guide like this

    https://opensourceforu.com/2015/04/how-to-configure-ubuntu-as-a-router/

or just don't use ubuntu and use something like pfsense if you don't want to do all the setup.
