    Hi,

assuming that you don't have a vCenter in place to manage that host, if you go for the "depot file", then this here should be the right way to go:

Upgrade or Update a Host with Image Profiles
    https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/8.0/vsphere-esxi-upgrade/GUID-E51C5DB6-F28E-42E8-ACA4-0EBDD11DF55D.html

Alternatively you could download the ISO file, mount it to your host, and boot the host from it. During the boot process the installer will notice that you already have ESXi installed and offer you the update option.

Thank you and merry christmas">Hello, thank you for your response and I am sorry for my delay in responding but these are complicated dates.
I have tried to boot the server using the iso: "VMware-ESXi-8.0.3-24280767-HPE-803.0.0.11.8.0.6-Oct2024.iso" by creating a USB media using Rufus, both in GPT and MBR and it does not work .
My question is if I use the method: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/8.0/vsphere-esxi-upgrade/GUID-E51C5DB6-F28E-42E8-ACA4-0EBDD11DF55D.html
