  • 1.  Unable to Power On VM, Failed to create swap file

    Last night i restart my my vpshere host & after booting one of the VM gives error when trying to boot.

    Failed to power on VM.

    Could not power on VM : Not found.

    Failed to create swap file '/vmfs/volumes/51508aaf-0217f7fc-10c4-0013729b52b7/host/host-fc598155.vswp' : Not found

    SharedArea: Unable to find 'testSharedAreaPtr' in SHARED_PER_VM_VMX area.

    any help please.

    Hello Kamran,

    Can you enable the reservation on the VM and try turning it ON and confirm.
