Unable to import VM template into local Content Library

Hello, I'm experiencing a weird problem in vCenter server 7.0.3 build 19480866. When I import a VM template into the local and published Content Library I get the situation displayed in the pic attached, until it times out.

If I upload an ISO file all good. Steps performed so far:

deleted content of CL

deleted the whole CL

tried with a different VM template

tried with different datastores

All produced the same output, stuck at 66% until time out. Any clue? I can't find any post or KB that fits..

What does the error message say?

If the OVF Export takes more than 20 minutes, you could face timeouts in coordination with the import task to a Content Library.

many thanks Lalegre, I'll give it a try but I doubt it will work. The 66% is reached in less than a minute, and then it sits there until timeout

I would suggest that you check these things:

• Firewall is the ports open to actually transfer the files to the Content Library?

ISO files transfer just fine, no errors or timeouts

patched the vcenter server with latest patch for version 7.0.3 but nothing. Then filed a request to vmware

the issue was found in the proxy that was set in the vcenter server who knows when. For some reasons the connection to the proxy was deleted in the firewall. By removing the proxy (unneeded anyway), the synchronization was re-established
