Mac OS X installs fine on Mac Mini running ESXi 5.5u1.  Everything else seems to work.  Just can't login to iMessage using Messages.app on OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks.

    Tried using serialNumber.reflectHost = "TRUE" and smbios.reflectHost = "TRUE"

Has anyone had any success with this?  If it is possible on a Hackintosh, it should be possible on genuine Apple hardware.

iMessage does some strange things with regard to identifying the "Mac" that it's running on.  Our virtual platform does not yet meet Apple's very-opaque standards.  We're working on it.

    Thanks,

This issue appears to be fixed in the recently released VMware Fusion 7.  Any progress for ESXi?  Were there any related fixes in 5.5u2?

Same problem seems to have reappeared with VMWare Fusion 11 on Mojave 10.14.2 host with Mojave 10.14.2 guest. Should i be opening a new thread? Probably...
