  • 1.  Timezone UTC to CET

    Hi all guys,

I need change UTC timezone to CET in my ESX5.1 farm.

vCenter shows me Time/Date correctly but when I login in CLI mode Time is UTC with 2 hours less.

Is there exist any kind method to change it ? I've noticed /usr/share/Zoneinfo doesn't exist.

    Any suggestions ??

    Best regards.

ESXi 5.5 uses UTC by default and it doesn't support changing the time zone

Yes I read that, but my question is : How can I set correctly time to CET,  UTC+2 ?

Must I change manually all servers? How daylight is managed?

    Regards.

By default its UTC but try if u have any linux server than change time zone on linux using zone file and and copy /etc/localtime file in ur ESX system.

Before doing anything please take backup or original local time file on ESX.

second option is configure with NTP server.

Just have an NTP server with time as UTC+2.

Sync your machine with NTP server.
