  • 1.  This system has been halted any help

    I am in the process of installing 7.0U3 on a HPE MicroServer Gen8 (Xeon E3)No Ver and it seems like it does install but when is time to remove the media and reboot, I get the "this system has been halted"  , I am trying to clean install 7.0U3

    I Use USB Memory 64GB and HPE custom ISO.

    any help .

    HI,

    HPE GEN8 servers are not compatible with VMware version 7.0.  You can at most install version 6.5

    So it is normal that you encounter anomalies.

    Otherwise, during the installation of the VMware OS you may have had a warning message of the type:

    Hi

    I know MicroServer Gne8 is not supported, but I was able to install it once last time.
    This time when I tried to do a clean install, it would not install.
    Why is this happening?

    Hi

    If you have used 2 different HPE isos, the pre-installation checks on the new iso may prohibit the installation of the OS
