  • 1.  The server port of Update manager cannot open

    In the Vcenter 4.1 update manager, I set the SOAP port as 8084 and set server port as 9084 in the "nework connectivity", I also opened these port in the windows firewall, and Vmware vcenter update manager service and venter update manager UFA service was also started.

    but I used "netstat -ano" to find the ports, I found that the port 8084 is open but the server port 9084 is not open, I don't know why?

    please first disable default port then see

    Thanks for your answer! But I don't know how to disable the default port and cannor open the links  www.vmware.com/files/.../vsphere-migration-prerequisites-checklist!
