  • 1.  Technical differences between ESXi and KVM ?

    Hi

    Is there any technical differences between ESXi and KVM if yes then what are they? Feature wise ESXi is more rich and have more functionality but technically what is the difference, can anyone explain me?

    One big difference is that ESXi is a seperate and dedicated OS, whereas KVM is installed as a feature, or application on top of a Linux OS. The overhead of ESXi is therefore lower compared to KVM.
