    Hello,

I have a problem with storage. The server which i bought is 250 GB which is so small amount. the worst thing that i couldnt upload a lot of images on it as there is Uncommited storage for 192 G. The only used storage is around 147 G.

Can anyone help me to use the whole amount for storage

... as there is Uncommited storage for 192 G

It looks like you have VM's with thin provisioned virtual disks, and that's the space that has been provisioned minus the space that's already used.

Well, that's almost impossible to say. It actually depends on your requirements.

You can do over-commit of storage space then only you can use it maximum but that will degrade performance.

by the way it's very less space , better add more disks in your host and increase storage.

    1. Delete snapshot on VMs.
    2. Convert VM's VMDK Disk's Type from Thick to Thin via SvMotion.

    3. Check if any VM folder showing inside data-store which is already got removed from vCenter/Host Inventory, if yes then delete those folder (do carefully).

Try these steps, It will help you to make free space on your data store :smileyhappy:

Thans a lot for the reply, but:

    1. i really dont have any snapshots to be deleted.

    2. what i have is Thin provisioned in the settings:

you have configured 120GB Memroy for above VMs as showed in screenshot and however you had less memory in Host as I saw in another screenshot.

So there is chance that your storage space is consuming by Guest Page file, check swapping of host, datastore graph in performance TAB.
