  • 1.  SSD slow on Esxi

    I have a question about my ESXI version.

    currently i have version 6.5.0 on my Intel NUC.

    the SSD is extremely slow when creating an OVF virtual machine. restoring a virtual machine is also extremely slow.

    now I read that this problem has been solved with an upgrade to 6.5.0 update 1/2.

    can anyone confirm that this is really the solution?

    I have an SSD (parent) that is extremely fast. I recently bought a Crucial BX500 (240GB), but it is extremely slow.

    Where did you read this and can you provide a reference?

    Keep in mind here:  You're using completely unsupported hardware across the board. This isn't to say it's the cause but it's something to keep in mind. There are no performance guarantees when you go this route.

    unfortunately, upgrading to 6.5.0 U1 / U2 is not the solution.

    did anyone happen to have the same problem? or does anyone know how to solve this?
