  • 1.  SSD showing drive type non ssd in vsphere web

    We have installed esxi 6.5 (6.5.0 Update 1 Build 6765664) evaluation, Image Profile : Lenovo_ESXi6.5u1-6765664_20171120 (Lenovo) On over physical server Lenovo system x3850 x6 also configured hardware RAID 0 on physical server of SSD drive, RAID controler : Server RAID M5210

    But SSD showing drive type as a non ssd in vsphere web why my physical SSD drive not detect as a SSD in vsphere web Kindly help resolve this problem

    Hi,

    kindly guide me how to mark my physical  SSD drive as SSD in individual host this host not added in vCenter server.

    Ok.

    I don't remember if this button exists in Host client.

    However you can do this manually from CLI VMware Knowledge Base

    Thank you for support now our physical SSD drive show as a SSD in individual Esxi 6.5 host
