  • 1.  SRM not seeing VMs on Datastore group

    Hi,

     

    I'm trying to configure protection groups in Site Recovery Manager. The setup uses array based replciation. When I select the datastore group it only sees 2 VMs and not others. How can I resolve this.

    Hi  ,

    Are the other VMs part of the replicated datastores ? Ensure that the VM config files and all it's hard disks are located on a datastore that is replicated by storage array.

    Hi, 

    For the VMs that weren't being seen, it turns out that the VM config files and all it's hard disks weren't actually located on the datastore. They were just using an ISO file located on that datastore, attached to it's CD/DVD drive for OS installation.
