  • 1.  SRM in a Test/POC environment

I'm currently building a test/POC environment for SRM and vCenter 6.5, as a POC for a migration of a customer environment.

I've built the vCenter, PSCs, ESXi hosts as VMs to test it all. Configured SRM on the vCenter and linked the site pair. So far so good. For the storage im basically using a windows server 2008 server formatted as an NFS share and mounted in ESXi... all seems well.

Now i'm stuck trying to add the SRA so the the adapters can be used for array based replication. Is there a way to get SRM to see this sort of config, or is this as far as im going to get with the POC and will have to do the rest on the customers site live?

    Any ideas?

You need to read the documentation for your SRAs and the documentation for SRM around adding SRAs. They are installed on both SRM servers and they should show up in the UI after they have been installed correctly.
