  • 1.  SRM 9.0 No vCenters found during Site Pairing

We have a new pair of SRM 9.0 appliances I'm trying to pair. Each has been registered with its local vCenter server and firewall rules according to Network Ports for Site Recovery Manager have been put in place.

When I attempt to pair the local and remote appliances, (from either side the result is the same), its not finding the peer vCenter. I'm not seeing any blocks in Aria Logs or Splunk between any of the relevant devices. I can curl the various destinations\ports from each source and get a connection, so it doesn't look like things are blocked there. We are using storage replication so no VMware replication is in play here. I've spent some time in the in the appliance's logs looking around but haven't found anything. Any ideas what I might have missed or which log to check for why these things aren't connecting?

Do you see any errors in the dr client log (/var/log/vmware/dr-client/dr.log) ? From the appliance you're running the UI client. What is the vCenter version used on both sites ?

Thanks for the comments. Turns out there was a typo in one of the site ID's. Match them, problem solved.
