I am trying to perform a Storage VMotion of a VM to a datastore cluster and receiving the error message "insufficient disk space on datastore <datastore name>" for both datastores in the cluster. Both datastores have >180 GB free (of 535 GB total), and the VM has 18.37 GB used out of 19.04 GB provisioned. SDRS is set for an 80% utilization threshold.

I haven't really used datastore clusters before; is there something I'm missing?

when migrating you are migrting as thin?

it might be trying to expand if you select a different disk format when moving it

It happens no matter what format I select.
