  • 1.  Snapshots files not removed after cosolidation

    So I have consolidated all snapshots in on one of my machines ,using the create snapshot then delete all snapshots . but when I look in directory still see snapshot files, any  idea how to remove them  or to why they are still there ?

    Depending on the number and size of the snapshots, deleting them could take some time.

    What's the size(es) of the snapshot(s) and when did you start "Delete All".

    If you use DataRecovery for Backups you should check the settings of the DR-Appliance.

    The virtual disk of your VM could exist as further HDD in your DR-Appliance after a failed backup.

    - Shutdown DR-Appliance

    - Remove the additional virtual disk (VM) from the DR-Appliance (-> remove from virtual machine)

    - Restart DR-Appliance

    - Consolidate all Snapshots for the VM

    Thanks lads ) think the KB resolved issue
