  • 1.  Snapshot command not available

    We have a VC 2.0.1, ESX 3.0.1 configuration

    I can't take a snapshot of one of the virtual machines. The "Take Snapshot" command is grayed out.

    I can snapshot other virtual machines on the same host without any problem.

    One difference is that this virtual machine is a SQL cluster node, and there are shared disks.

    Any ideas?

    What mode are the shared disks in virtual or physical? If they are in physical mode then you will not be able to snap
