  • 1.  Setup vSpere 8 on Dell PowerEdge R7525

    Hi,

    We have a trial of vSphere 8 we would like to try out.

    I tried setting it up on our server, Dell PowerEdge R7525, but was not successful. I tried booting from the flash drive, but when it comes to which drive to install, the drives are not available. I also tried via iDRAC, also had no luck.

    Could anyone assist me and also maybe forward me a guide on how to install vSphere on our server?

    Can you please give us a little bit more details about the server especially what PERC adapter is installed or if a BOSS card exists in this system. Maybe you can provide us the inventory of the system from the support website or the iDRAC.

    And what ISO are you using? The one from the VMware website or the customized from the Dell support page?
