Server and agent init scripts

Hi,

I have made a new set of init scripts for sys v systems to manage hyperic agent and server processes. The scripts are LSB compliant so they should work in any distro that is also compliant. I've tested them on RHEL 4.4, CentOS 4.4 and 5 beta, and Mandriva 2007.x. You can download the script files or RPM packages of them.

Forgot to mention, both scripts have a configuration file in /etc/sysconfig/{hq-server,hq-agent} where the home of the server and agent, and the user to run them are defined. You have to edit this files first before you are able to use the scripts.

u gave below ..
But the link is broken as i tried to download ..it says the "404 Error:
Missing Document
The server could not locate the document you requested."

Kindly send the script asap..

One more thing i want a init script for RHEL5 as my hyperic agent runs on rhel5 so i want it to start at boottime..

Will this script work on rhel5 also? as u tested on rhel4 u said..let me know..

Raja, the new RPM installer has RHEL/Fedora initscripts included that use chkconfig.
