Testing RD Gateway using Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 installed on ESXi 4 U1. VMWare Tools has been installed on the virtual servers.

It takes 15 seconds to see the console screen of Windows Server 2008 R2 servers when switching between them. Any suggustion? Thanks.

I am running a complete TS environment like that on esx 4iU1 with no problems. When talknig console screen, are you talking the Vmware Client console?

Have you also changed the video driver for R2 and Windows 7 to use the WDDM driver.

After updating the driver, there is not notable change. It is still long time to switch.

3 servers run using < 2G/4G RAM in total and 0 CPU usages (3.4Ghz total) - Resources are all default with no spcial settings.

Are there enough resources for them? Are there any limits set for VMs?
