  • 1.  Power Management Option Grayed Out

    Hi,

    I recently built two ESXi hosts that are HP Servers, during the install i used HP's inbuilt installation wizard when setting up the Hosts.

    I specified High Performance as the selected power profile.

    I have noticed that when connected via the vSphere or Web Client's I am not able to see what the power setting is set to nor am I able to set one as it is grayed out.

    Any idea's of why this is the case?

    Hi,

         Looks like you need to do some change in your BIOS, to enable you to manage it from ESXi OS.

    Look at the BIOS configuration section in the following article.
