This is not a VMware-related question, however do some searches for UCS SPAN session. There are plenty of articles that walk you through the process.

    Hi tdubb123,

Cisco-UCS gives you many options for port-mirroring. You can configure port-mirroring a on Uplink, vnic, Port-channel and many other places.

You can configure port-mirroring on UCS asper requirement. Please find the Cisco document below:

    1.  Port-mirroring: Cisco UCS Manager System Monitoring Guide, Release 3.1  - Traffic Monitoring [Cisco UCS Manager] - Cisco

    2.  Capture a traffic flow that is completely outside the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) and direct it to a Virtual Machine (VM) running a sniffer tool inside the UCS: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/servers-unified-computing/ucs-b-series-blade-servers/200521-Configure-a-Virtual-Machine-on-a-UCS-Bla.html

Configure Virtual Machine on UCS Blade Server as SPAN Destination - Cisco

Note (For link 2):- Cisco UCS only supports ERSPAN.

    Hope this will help.
