  • 1.  PBM error occured PreMigrateCheckCallback: Connection refused

    Hello,

    I have just disconnected and removed my ESXi 5.5 U2 hosts from an old VCSA 5.5's inventory and added them to a new VCSA 6.0 but now vMotion fails with the error: a general system error occurred: PBM error occurred during PreMigrateCheckCallback: Connection refused

    All VMkernels can ping each other and no network configurations have been made.

    Any help appreciated!

    please post logs from vmkernel and also the VCSA...

    does a clod migration work?

    Cold migration didnt work no.

    Solved it in the end after reading this post: Re: vMotion not working after upgrade to 5.5 U2

    The VMware vSphere Profile-Driven Storage service (vmware-sps) wasnt running so i started it and vMotion started to work again.
