  • 1.  P2V Windows 2000 server to ESXi 7

    Hi All,

    I am new to VMware and I have an old proliant G3 server running Windows 2000 server for which I would like to P2V to move it to VMware environment.

     

    May I ask if it is still possible?  Does the VMware Converter support to convert Windows 2000 server to run on vSphere 7 environment?

    Hi,

    G3 is a super old server, however technically you can convert P2V using old version of vmware converter. That being said, the converted VM can have many issues in terms of compatibility. Good luck
