  • 1.  P2V 7B Inaccessible Boot Device Windows 2000 Advanced Server

    I am attempting to convert a Windows 2000 Advanced Server. 4 CPU, 4 GB Ram

    The ESX server is release 3.5.0 12360

    The Virtual Center Server 2.5 11958

    The Update 4 Rollup package has been installed and the scsiport.sys version is 5.0.2195.7059

    I am using the standalone convert version 4.0.1 build-161434

    The hardware is a Dell Poweredge 2650

    After the conversion completes the error occurs when trying to start the VM. I can however attach the boot partition to another VM and peruse the drive with no issues.

    For Converter 4.0.1 you should use Converter 3.0.3 - 4.0.1 will not work
