  • 1.  OVA to OVF

    We are trying to convert an OVA file to a OVF file to deploy.

    We are using OVFTools 4.0.0

    When we run the conversion it will get to 99% and then error out.

    Saying:

    "Transfer failed

    Error: Failed to decompress files

    Completed with errors"

    Not finding anything in the forums or the web on this issue.

    An OVA is really just a renamed ZIP file that contains the OVF files, VMDK disks, and others. Just rename OVA to ZIP and open it with a decompression tool of your choice.
