we are still looking for a download server with fast speeds and minimal financial constraints on bandwidth. We are also curious to know the users and appreciate their response. We will provide torrents so the users can already start downloading and will provide for a unlimited seeding.

For the time being, If you send an email to us, we can provide you with download instructions to the OTRS appliance.

Sure it does, check this out. Download and check chapter 9 (9.3.1.2 specifically for LDAP/Backend integration).

I believe this appliance should be pulled as when you email for the download you do not get a response and therfore you cannot use the tool.

I am working on upgrading the current OTRS 2.1 to OTRS 2.2.2 with ITSM + CMDB modules. These modules give the OTRS tool even more visibility within a seriously process driven IT infrastructure.

Please wait for a couple of days and the OTRS image will be created. Quickly some enhancements (more will follow as I will edit it):

o OTRS 2.2.2 (Latest version)

o ITSM Modules

o CMDB database addition

o Special production ready (VMware ESX 3.x version) OTRS VA

o Test/experimental OTRS VA

I am having significant trouble getting this appliance to work. I've downloaded version 2.2.2 No Pocket and installed the ACE player. Now it asks me for a license number? Also how can I import this appliance into ESX?

I belive the ACE package is for restricting the trial period. so you need to have an ace license.

How ever, Where do I found documentation for the papckage? ie more info about the ITSM additions and the thoughts behind them?

and where to access and find the CRDB parts?
