  • 1.  NVMe in HPE DL380 RAID1 possible?

    Hello

I got an DL380 Gen9 with 6 NVMe. They are on the PCIe bus not connected on a raid controller.
I can see them in the ESXi is there a way to make a RAID1 of two of them?

    If so how?

That is how I see them. I can add them ad single datastores.

    Thanks for help

No, that is what NVMe gives you, individual devices which are not behind a common controller, there's no software raid in ESXi. For vSphere there's vSAN to provide resilience for local devices, but that is not very helpful when you only have 1 host.

Hi thank you for your reply.
I read something about Intel VMD and VROC.
But I have not looked deeper into yet.
